![]() We are thirsty for anything new over here, and then the bomb drops. How do you not mention diablo 4 in any way. So now we have this BlizzCon where, I mean, come on. As someone who remembers playing diablo 2 for the first time and then losing my life as terrible character after terrible character had trouble making it past act 1 and act 2 was a dream for all but my barbar who liked to smash all the face (the real secret was my mom played for the first little bit so I didn’t get one of every skill) I was 8 at the time and not good at the game at all, but that didn’t stop it from being my favorite game of all time. I was pretty disappointed myself, after all we were all hoping for diablo 4 or something new for diablo 3. So I was unsurprised when I logged onto reddit today and saw all the hate for Diablo Immortal. ![]() How are you all maintaining your interest? What challenges might I dig into that would stoke my interest? I definitely know what’s required to continue to advance my Paragon and CR but have waning interest in doing what’s required.Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread I feel myself starting to shift from being eager to check in multiple times a day to logging on and not really wanting to do much of anything. Fractured was kind of fun but very short and an easy play-through Echo just seems like re-purposing an existing play mode and calling it something different. With the amount of money they’re making on this game, I’d like to see them release significant new content areas as opposed to mini games (Fractured) and extensions to existing modes (Echo). Even after this recent update, the interest just isn’t there for me any more. The various systems and skills were interesting to learn about and optimize, etc. It absolutely captures the feel of Diablo and the story isn’t terrible (better than D3 certainly). And, I really didn’t think they’d be able to capture the essence of Diablo in a mobile game.Īs cynical as I was, I decided to install it to at least try it. Taking one of my favorite franchises and making it P2W (even more than the other games) was offensive to me. ![]() As a long time Diablo gamer, I watched the BlizzCon videos and hated the idea of DI as much as anyone. In fact, I like DI much more than I ever expected to. This is not another “I’m done with the game.” or “I hate this game.” post. ![]()
